What makes Eagle Creek different?

CHILD-CENTERED

Children all develop at different paces with different strengths and interests. While traditional education requires students to all follow the same path set by the teacher, Montessori encourages the individual child to learn based on their personal interests.

ADAPTABLE CURRICULUM

Montessori's flexible curriculum is designed with the idea that each child is different. In order to accommodate each child's needs, there are multiple different paths a child can take in order to reach our ultimate goal of notable developmental progress and school readiness.

MEANINGFULLY STRUCTURED

Our classroom is divided into 5 subject areas: Practical Life, Language, Mathematics, Sensorial Development, and Culture & Sciences. Our environment is uncluttered to avoid distraction and emphasize that this is a learning space. It is organized where children can access all play-oriented learning materials and get more out of their experience.

TEACHER'S ROLE

By observing children and taking note of their interests and levels of understanding, Montessori teachers unveil the unique potential in every child. They keep record of improvements, readiness, and subject interests so that they may draw on the information later when preparing the curriculum for the day.

HANDS-ON LEARNING

Students take an active role in their education. They have the responsibility to approach the subjects they are interested in, so they are extremely engaged in the lessons. With Montessori preschool classes, the lessons often consist of physical materials—children can literally be “hands-on” with math and language skills.

ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS

Within a Montessori school, even outdoor play is used as a teaching opportunity. Environmental education is an ideal way to integrate academic disciplines, stimulate the academic and social growth of young people, and promote conservation of the natural environment.

Our Services

Full-time Preschool

Class begins August 1st and follows the Bulloch County K12 calendar, so our students with older siblings will have schedules that coincide. Class is Monday through Friday from 7:30am until 3:30pm EST.

Extended Hours

Extended hours are available Monday through Friday. Drop off as early as 6:30am and pick-up by 6:00pm EST. We offer limited availability for our students' siblings as well, and our staff will provide an after-school snack and help with homework.

Sibling enrollment is offered on a first-come basis.

Summer Program

Summer Camp begins June 1 from 7:30am until 5:30pm EST for preschool aged children. We will spend the summer exploring and learning through fun-filled, theme-related activities including water days, field-days, and class parties!
